A FINE GEORGE II BRASS-STUDDED LEATHER TRUNK ON STAND BY HENRY NICKLES, CIRCA 1740.
Geometrically decorated with brass studs, a crown, and a pierced lock plate. Initialled ER. The interior with original marbled paper labelled Henry Nickles Trunk-Maker at ye Corner of St Pauls next Cheap-Side Conduit. On a later mahogany stand.
