A rare and unusual pair of Florentine rosewood commodes with their original Verde Antico marble tops, circa 1780.
The shaped tops veneered with ancient pieces of verde antico marble on a pietra serena ground. The bases veneered in rosewood geometrically banded in kingwood, on a poplar carcase.
